The Nez Rouge
The usual early start to Index area, with the objective this time being a 6 pitch sport climb, the Nez rouge. The rock is sunny and good, and popular, The other 2 climbs on this buttress seem more popular than this one, but later on, there are shared stances, resulting in a cats cradle of ropes and complicated manoeuvres to pass beneath other guides ropes without dislodging his clients. Again, two young lads and a granddad were enjoying the day out with a guide and climbing superbly. They took our photo at the top.
