While Jim was busy with the 100 miles, I tootled about the trails that beckoned with tempting signs and availed myself of the opportunity to cycle extensively through the grounds of Blenheim Palace. along the long , tree-lined straights to the furthest gates. I cycled towards Banbury on the traffic free Cheltenham to Woodstock cycle trail which meandered through attractive woodlands before emerging onto narrow and pretty lanes.
