Climbing at Valdemossa

Monday 2 April 2012
We cycle to Valdemossa to go climbing. On our Airnimal Folding bikes we stow ropes climbing rack and helmets. We take the hilly coast road out of Soller that passes through Lluc Alcari and Deia both perched above the blue sea and jewelled with grand mansions. Our bikes sit happily by a tree while we do some climbing. The climbing at Valdemaossa is made exciting by the fact that climbers when descending, or if they fall off, swing right out over the road, and over the wall that gives onto an enormous drop right down into the bay about 500 feet below.
