The Alqueria Blanca is an aptly named agrotourism hotel, standing as it does in lovely elevated olive groves at the foot of the renowned sport climbing area of Sa Gubia. The hotel itself is an historic and interesting building, about which we had often pondered in previous years, looking across from the crag, wondering why the yellow shutters are always closed. This time we got to see inside the shuttered rooms, which are not guest accommodation, but the historic part of the castle, full of lovely tiles and furniture, which are protected from the full brightness of the spanish sun.
