6,500 KM CYCLE; DAY 67, Klopeinersee

1984_08_05 viewDay 67 Monday 6 August 1984

Rest Day Klopeinersee. Austria. 20km. Total 3879km

Cycle to Volkermarkt to get money. A luxurious café serves poppyseed cake and strudel. I have fun in the toilets using taps with an electronic eye. Richard Burton is dead. We had forgotten how many things we missed in Yugoslavia and Italy. Shop for food, coffees with postcard writing, We have spent far too much money today. It rains as we return; supper is inside the tent with Austrian wine. Read the map. It rains for about eight hours during the night, very hard.
