Myvatn Lake

This is where we based ourselves for the first stage of our trip to Iceland. As we walked down the drive to the campsite, right on the water’s edge, we couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. The site was full of little nooks and crannies, all in short green grass, with wild ducks wandering over it. At night you could hear the ducks all around, quietly nibbling and paddling the grass by the tent.
