We went to go climbing at Cinque Torri, but the mountains were ‘shut’ because the Alpine Commando were holding a big exercise and demonstration of skills. It was very impressive especially when 4 men were dangling on the end of a rope from a helicopter at speed above the rocky mountain gullies, each perfectly positioned with their guns to cover enemies from any direction.
