The Pisciadu Plateau

At the top of the Tridentina Via Ferrata, after the little wobbly bridge that connects the rock tower to the plateau, you emerge to find yourself in an otherworldy moonlike landscape, – the Pisciadu Plateau. We walked away from the refuge to the steep and loose path down to the Gardena Pass below.  Several stones came down from people above as we descended and we chose to keep our helmets on.  The path is so steep that there is wire in places.
